Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-07-27
This policy explains what PZLFG collects, why, and the choices you have. PZLFG is operated by Alexander Vilenius. For any privacy request or question, contact alexredchili@gmail.com.
Who this applies to
PZLFG is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the service.
What we collect
- Account identity. When you sign in with Steam or Discord we receive your Steam ID or Discord ID and your handle from that provider. We never see your password.
- Profile. The public profile you create: username, region, timezone, languages, skill level, mic preference, hosting capability, playstyles, game build, and bio.
- Date of birth. We store your date of birth privately, solely to verify you are 18 or older. It is never shown publicly and is not shared.
- Your real handles. Your Steam and Discord handles are kept private and are only revealed to another member after you both accept a connection. You control this in your settings.
- Content you post. LFG posts, groups, server listings, comments, and connection request messages. This content is public or visible to the people it is shared with.
- Technical data. Your IP address, basic request logs, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the service and let you find and connect with players (performance of a contract with you).
- To verify you are 18+ and to keep the platform safe, including acting on reports and blocks (our legitimate interest in a safe service, and legal obligation).
- To keep you signed in and remember basic preferences (strictly necessary cookies do not require consent).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of processors to run the service:
- Supabase - database, auth, and storage of your account and content.
- Vercel - application hosting and delivery.
- Steam and Discord - only as identity providers when you choose to sign in with them.
PZLFG does not currently show ads. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie so you can stay signed in. It is strictly necessary for the service to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content until you delete your account. When you delete your account, your profile, posts, groups, server listings, comments, connections, and private data are removed. Minimal security logs may be retained for a short period to prevent abuse.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and data at any time from your account settings. For any other request, email alexredchili@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
